Reported Crop Circles for the State of New York-

Gallupville, Schoharie County (August 5, 1968)

A family of five witnesses saw a reddish oval BOL hovering near the ground an emitting a ‘buzzing’ sound. They watched it for about 15 minutes. The next morning several circles were found in the wheat field at that spot ‘swirled oddly’.
